Advice please - I have made a typo on my application form only realised after submission

Post by herrrr » Wed May 22, 2019 7:08 pm

Hi there
Can I ask for some help here please - there was a typo on the application form in the ‘absence’ section, where I put the starting date’s year wrong, and it looks like I have been away for a whole year but actually it was only a 1-week holiday.

Has anyone got an idea what you should do if you made a typo or if you realised you filled the form incorrectly?

I have tried to ring that £2.5/min helpline but it was totally a rip off - I was queuing for 2 mins and didn’t manage to speak to anyone, and £5 was charged.

Thank you

Thank you. I can’t believe after checking and checking I didn’t spot this obvious mistake.

Print out the relevant page, manually edit it, add a covering letter and upload along with your other docs. You will be okay.
