Spouse 5 year route, passport/hoilday and expires

Post by Frontline » Fri May 31, 2019 3:27 pm

My wife plans to travel with our son to visit her mother in Pakistan in November 2019 for around 4 to 6 weeks, currently wife is on 5 year route, and currently on her 2nd half of her 5 year route, from Novemebr her Pakistani passport will expire around February 28th 2020, roughly less then 4 months, depending how long her stay is (between 4 to 6 weeks), When returning back to the UK will my wife be allowed into the UK even though her passport will have less then 6 months remaining, does the 6 month rule apply here even though shes on a 5 year route ?

No issue. There is no such rule for returning to the UK
