I got UK Tier 2 General sponsorship from a very reputed Banking Company in its IT division for Scotland. Also got an offer for USA in L1A from my current company. Now am in a greater confusion on which one to choose !! I need to decide it immediately as I need to resign to take Scotland opportunity so seeking your guidance/advise in this regard. Both UK & USA are in my aspiration list but need to decide one and move toward it so that Kids education will not get disturbed coz of relocation n all !!
I already came up with some points as below to decide better but still not sure if am taking the right decision in this BREXIT scenario !! Also let me know if it is possible to move to ENGLAND (London) provided getting a sponsor and the possibility to get a sponsor for internal transfer from Scotland to England.
UK pros:-
- Career & Settlement Certainty - Can get PR in 5 years. But not sure what BREXIT gonna bring for the certainty factor.
- Job security - Current offer is from Leading Banking client hence believe will have min Job security ! Again not sure what BREXIT gonna bring for the factor also.
- Schooling for Kids - Hope schooling is free(or minimum fee) and good in Scotland
- Medical Insurance - Heard NHS is really gud and UK is best for health care !!
- Spouse can work
- Salary - The company offers decent salary in Scotland but which is less than what am getting now
Weather - Heard Scotland weather is little worse than England. But am used to European climate but still not sure how worse it will be !!
- BREXIT - Not sure if its a right decision to make a move now in BREXIT condition as it may or may not affect UK economy in short/long run !!
- Job security - As many says its Land of opportunity(!?) and also my company has many clients so Job security will be there.
- Salary - Very good when compared to the offer I got in Scotland
- Schooling for Kids - Hope schooling is good in USA
- Medical Insurance - Comes with some charges but my company will cover it for us
- Spouse can work - I will be in L1A, so my spouse can work in sometime.
- Career & Settlement Uncertainty - Green card is not in near future at-least for 10 years even though am in L1A as my company will do only EB2. Apart from this I dint see any other cons according to me but please to enlighten if anything I missed
