Hello,

I am Indian Citizen and married and have kids and we were living at UK with ICT Tier 2 visa but our relationship is now in a bad situation and we need to end it.

At the same time, I have a relationship with a British Indian girl and we are now in love and planning to marry. Do I need to divorce my previous wife back in home country to marry or at UK? I dont know how long it will take for divorce, can i marry before my divorce?

Please advise.

As you are both living n the UK, you must follow UK divorce law.

You cannot marry until your divorce is finalised as it is against the law in the UK to be married to two women at the same time. Multiple marriages are not recognised.

Also note that if your spouse and kids are here as dependents on your ICT visa, once you notify HO and/or switch to a spouse visa, they will have to leave the UK as their visas will be cancelled.
