Hi

Anyone know how much time is approximately Homeoffice taking for ILR for refugee.

Got email saying 6months but read here it’s different then that.

Anyone knows Causes of delay and refusal.

I got refugee status without appeal or any problem

Please answer very depressed
Hey mate
It is still with in 6 months it is ranging from 2 to 5 months from what i have read here and of course there are exceptions in every case

What is it that you are worried about?
Have you applied yet?

Just worried, other hand I read unless you convinced, obtain passport of country , travel back home they grant you ilr.

Other reason illegal entered , due deportation, or use depiction like use documents to enter uk which is not belong you to gain refugee,

Non of them in my case, it’s simple and straightforward

Enter legal
Got asylum with in my previous visa
Stay 5 years
No conviction
No travel
No CCJ
No NHS debts
No renew passport
No HMRC issues

What else is required??

It's been 4 months and 10 days for me, it's stressful I must agree.just be strong man, that's all you can do.. That's what I'm trying to do as well... To be strong and calm. The uncertainty and lack of communication can cause you undue anxiety but it is what it is....

Bro you have same rights as before while this application is being processed by law

You can even give the new employer you application number ... they can even check with home office ..they cant deny you job solely because ur application is under process

Guys just a question I am still waiting on my ILR

1. does everyone now approved gets 10 years limit? isn't it meant to be indefinite?
2. it says refugee settlement now, not settled any more?

1. The 10 year limit applies to the BRP card. It expires and you have to renew it. Your entitlement to indefinite leave does not expire/lapse. After 10 years you just need a new BRP card.
2. Not sure. Many members mention that it indicates the route of settlement (i.e. refugee). This is unfortunate, however I suspect most settled refugees naturalise as BC soon after. It is also a reminder that after holding ILR, if the Home Office believes that you are no longer refugee (get national passport, travel to country sought protection from, etc.) or you obtained the status by deceit you are still in risk (albeit low risk) of losing it.
