ILR - FRL

Post by Holloway » Fri Jun 14, 2019 8:14 pm

Hi All,

I hope you are all doing great. If gurus can shed some light on my query i will be grateful.

My Teir 1 visa expires on 22nd of december this year, and i have to apply for ILR. I am sure i have got everything covered for the ILR extension but again there can be something missing or we all know how home office can be really picky.

However, My ten years also complete on 24th December this year too with a gap of two years. I have been considering other options. Is it possible for me to put FRL application for further stay and then change my application for ILR via 10 years route?

or - can i vary my Teir 1 ILR application to 10 year ILR application ?

Sorry if i am not being really clear on my question.

Thank you.

What do you mean "a gap of two years"??

Do you have dependents in the UK with you?

What date exactly did you enter the UK in 2009?

You can apply within 28 days before the 10th anniversary of the date you entered the UK. You must have a valid visa on the date of application.
