Tier 2 dependent Visa Renewal

Hi All,
Looking for some guidance on this.
I was in the UK on tier 2 visa and got married last year while I was 4.5 years in on this visa. My wife got tier 2 dependent visa until oct 2019. Now I completed my 5 years and switched to ILR. My wife's visa will get renewed this year and I am wondering what documents will be required as I am now on ILR. I am specifically looking for documents to prove we are living together.
Please share any advise on this.

Presumably she is extending her PBS Dependent visa and you got ILR based on Tier 2 and not long residence?

Besides the 90 days maintenance funds, you need to show cohabitation in the form of tenancy agreement, utility bills, NHS letters, DWP letters, DVLA if applicable, any other official letters like TV license etc.

yes she will be extending her tier2 dependent (Slightly confused as I am now on ILR will she still get the tier 2 dependent visa ?!?!) and yes I got my ILR based on 5 years on tier 2 general visa.
Does that change anything ?

The rules allow your dependent to extend their pbs dependent visa if you got ILR based on tier 2, see link below.

She will get a 3 year extension. Note also that IHS has increased and will cost £1200 now plus the visa fee.

Hi folks,

I am looking for some information about PBS dependent visa renewal.

The situation is that I got married last year while I was on tier 2 work visa and brought my wife to UK on a tier 2 dependent visa. I got ILR in November last year but have to renew my wife's visa this year as that will expire in Oct.

Now i want to make sure i apply the correct category?
also if any one can advise on list of supporting documents, it would be great.

I have read somewhere that the tier 2 PBS dependent, like Tier 2 visa, can only be renewed twice ?
if thats the case, I wont be able to renew my wife's visa again after it expires in Oct 2022. That means she would have done only 4 years and 3 months in total.
Can you share some thoughts please ?

Where have you read it?? It is nonsense. There is no limit on how many times a tier 2 dependent can extend their visa.

Thanks a lot. I will try to find where i read it.
If thats the case i will just apply for an extension.
Are you able to share the correct link to the website please ? I tried to navigate on the gov.uk website but ended up on the same page i used to apply for tier 2 dependent visa and there is no option to select to say that its an extension rather than a new one.
Please advise.

• Online application form duly completed (IHS paid whilst being submitted)
• Passport of the applicant.
• BRP of the applicant.
• Spouse’s passport(copy)
• Spouse’s Bio metric permit (copy)

Financial Documents
• Husband's Account statements showing required funds for more than 90 consecutive days(in the spouse’s name)

Relationship
• Original marriage certificate.

Proof of address/Proof of cohabitation.
• Tenancy Agreement.
• Driver’s licence.
• Utility bills.
• NHS registration confirmation letter.
• Surgery appointment letter.
• National Insurance appointment letter.
• Wife's Bank account Statement.
