when to switch to Tier 2 dependent

Post by aspirant910 » Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:03 am

I am on ICT tier 2 visa and my spouse is planning to apply for the Tier 2 General visa from her home country. Is it better to apply for Tier 2 dependent visa at the same time ? or i can apply later from within UK.
We have a 5-year-old child as well who was born in UK. I am planning to apply from UK with my son once she is granted visa.
Does switching to another visa outside UK affect continuity period in UK ?
Please suggest.

You can both switch within the UK once your spouse has returned with her tier 2 general visa.

In relation to what are you asking this question exactly?
