ILR benefits

Post by Drdelacruziii » Tue Jun 25, 2019 1:31 pm

Can I apply for child benefits? even if my child visa is still under tier 2 general visa? If yes, would it not affect his future ILR application?

No as it is NOT your wife claiming child benefits. Only you can claim it as you hold ILR.

Thank you so much CR001 your such a big help.
I am just reluctant to claim child benefits as I am afraid for my wife and son to cause problem on their future ILR applications.

It is not an issue. You are overthinking. You can claim in your name as YOU hold ILR.
