ILR Application Travel History (other)

Hi All,

I have a question on the Travel History (Other) questionnaire in the ILR application:

Have you ever been:
refused a visa for any country other than the UK
deported from any country other than the UK
removed from any country other than the UK
required to leave any country other than the UK
refused entry at the border of any country other than the UK

The scenario is that due to single entry Schengen visa mistaken as multiple entry, border security at Dover advised to take on spot visa for travelling further. But didn't travel and came back. So the question is should I say Yes for the highlighted question and give the reason as I explained in the scenario. Kindly clarify, this will help me complete my application. Many thanks.
