Financial requirement

Post by zchay3e » Thu Jul 04, 2019 6:54 am

Hello
I am applying for my wife's ILR aftee 5 years. I have started my current job 11 months ago. The basic salary is £27k but there is always overtime, so the take home varies. I have so far earned more than the 18,600. My question is: what documents do I need to submit, as I only have 11 payslips.
Many thanks

Same financial documents as were used in previous both applications such as 6 months payslips & bank statements and employer letter. Your basic wages will be calculated under salaried person approach but all overtime will be calculated through none-salaried person approach. Both will be combined to get the annual wages for visa purpose but your basic wages alone is more than enough.

Employer's letter

Post by zchay3e » Mon Jul 08, 2019 12:11 pm

Could someone please tell me if this employer's letter is sufficient. My gross salary varies each month due to overtime, but always exceeds the requirement.

The rules I were given about the letter is that it should include:
1. the employment;
2. the gross annual salary;
3. how long the employment has been/was held;
4. the period over which the person has been paid the level of salary stated in their application; and
5. the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency)

It is indeed!
So there is no need for a breakdown of my monthly salary on the letter itself?

Topics merged. Please keep all your questions on the same application in one thread in the ILR sub forum.

No, that is what your payslips and bank statements are for.

In case of varying wages your employer need to write the average annual wages by taking the average of last 6 months.

I am really confused about how many payslips and bank statements I should supply. I am applying under category A, being employed over 6 months (11 months to be precise). Category A asks for 6 months statements and payslips. The new ILR online application only asks if you earn same amount, and is it below or above. My income varies due to overtime, but always above. The application then asks for 12 months payslips and statements, but I only have 11 payslips, and in any case, category A asks for 6 months.

What should I do? Should I apply with six months and include a cover letter somewhere? Thanks
