Claiming benefits and PBS Dependent ILR application

Post by muazpk » Fri Jul 19, 2019 11:16 am

Hi

I got my British Citizenship via PBS Tier 1 (Entreprenuer) 5 years route.
My wife is on PBS Dependent visa. She would be eligible for ILR in November 2021.

So far we have not applied or received any public funds or benefits. We now have 2 sons (both British nationals) so we are thinking of getting some funds.

My concerns and questions are:

1. Does Child benefit affect my wife's future application?

2. Are there any other benefits which would not affect my wife's future application? (like Universale Credit, child tax credit, working tax credit etc)

Thanks for the help.

1. No because claim it in your name only on child behalf.

2. Almost none
