Dear All

i have applied naturalisation on 29th March 2019 via post and done my bio metric on 1st may 2019. since that i havnt received any thing from home office. i have written 3 email to the following address and their replies were below here.
email to NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk on 24 June

25th June they replied and reply was:: It will take a while longer for your application to be considered

email to NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk on 15 July
no reply from them
another email to NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk on 19th july 2019

19th July they replied as: Thank you for your further e-mail which was sent to your caseworker yesterday.
You may not get an immediate response
I cannot add anything further

Can you guys please shed some light on that.i understand from that my application is with case worker to make a decision.

A British Citizenship application takes 6 months on average for a decision to be made and you won't receive anything other than a generic response before then. :idea:

I Have seen all of applicant who email to get update from nationality support and in reply if they say that your file is with caseworker it is mostly true. please let me know why you think it is generic response? your reply will be appreciated.

The truth is nobody knows. Usually if it is with the case worker and there are no issues with your case you should get a response soon and by soon I mean within a month.

Yeah tahts what i have seen through this forum. if they update that your case is with caseworker i think that is last stage of your application,just need to make a decision. i have gone through this forum and saw that all the checks are completed and when it is ready to make a decision, the case is allocated to a case worker.

I sent email on Friday to ask if my case is with caseworker and by mistake i sent that email to NationalityBiometrics@homeoffice.gov.uk and than i sumbit again to nationalitysupportteamfmt@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
i received reply from nationality@biometrics that" Yes, and the case worker will make final decision on your application. and reply from nationality support team fmt that " as stated i cant add any thing further.

this reply is strange.

This whole thread is like a child asking questions.
Casa and graphite have already informed you that you can expect only generic responses and nobody knows. Yet you persist in asking what exactly that means.
Its about time you learn to be patient and wait until ur case is decided by a caseworker. You have been told that your case is with a case worker. Now do you expect to be told why you havent been approved the day the file lands on their desk?
