Working/Child Tax Credit while wife is on spouse visa

Post by Gunner786 » Tue Jul 23, 2019 9:54 pm

Hi guys.
My wife is 10 year into spouse visa and we have had a baby boy 2 weeks ago.
My income is £19800 per year self employed.
If i claim working/child tax credit will it affect my wifes visa process?

You will have to claim Universal Credit. The Tax Credit benefits have ended.

Read all the threads on this page about Universal Credit as they all ask this same question.

You can claim Child benefit in your name only (the name of the person who is allowed public funds).
