Universal credit and ILR

Post by toqeer90 » Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:57 am

Hi I just wanted to know. I’m on a spouse visa and going to apply for ILR early new to year. But my question is my wife wants to apply for a child tax credit for 2 kids but now they change it to universal credit. My wife and 2 daughters are British. So if she gets universal credits for child’s only. Does that affect my ILR? She just to get for child only nothing else

possibly yes. Why not she wait until her ILR.

Preferably you wait until you get ILR.
