Tier 4 Dependent visa Accommodation not yet confirmed

Dear All ,

Kindly help me to take a decision on Tier 4 Dependent visa

My Wife is on her T4 Visa and now doing internship . I am planning to join her . Since she was alone in UK the kind of accommodation she took was single bed room. Her owner is not ready to give a no objection letter to let me and our kid to join with her in the same accommodation . He is asking for a new contract and I think that will create an extra overhead for us as the visa application is not yet confirmed.

Is a confirmed accommodation is mandatory for Visa to be granted because she can find a good one later according to my travel plan.

No. There are no requirements related to housing, so I am not sure where you are getting the idea of needing the "no objection letter".

The only requirements related to housing are that the applicant has the requirement amount of money for their living costs (which includes housing), and paragraph 319C(e) for which no evidence is required

The applicant and the Relevant Points Based System Migrant or Appendix W Worker must intend to live with the other as their spouse or civil partner, unmarried or same-sex partner throughout the applicants stay in the UK.

So both you and your child are applying as Tier 4 dependants?

Yes . Both. She is 8 years old. Any thing more to consider when applying for Kid also.
