Non-EU single parent to British child
Student visa 5 years+ 5 Years leave to remain(10 year route)
Applied via post 16/07/19 and received passports + confirmation letter asking me to take Bimoetrics within 7 days
Biometrics taken on 29/07/19 and now waiting for outcome.

Has anyone had similar experience and whether return of passports(not supporting documents) is sign of approval)
Thanks

I am sorry to say but looks like you are applying under ZAMBRANO Route even after having status under UK immigration route . Do you know the criteria of applying under this route ? You can not apply under this route . This EU SETTLEMENT scheme is not for those who currently hold a 2.5 year BRP on a 10 year route .

Hi All,
Just want to ask a question

timeline;
Biometric RC since 2015
no EU citizen
Application 22.01
COA 22.01
Decision 15.02 pre settled status

I have seen some people post regarding have their Biometrics taken and receiving a Biometric residence card. I only have the confimation email, and the status online. is that because I already have a residence card ? or because I applied with my RC and not with my Passaport ?

Thanks,

David

By providing your partner documents, it makes your case bit stronger... I know at times things can be difficult, but when you are under immigration control, you have to be more careful..

I did provide every thing from wife, French id, french passport and my 7 year old English marriage certificate

12 July biometrics for me
15 August coa
16 August they ask for me Only, July 2014 to Sep 2015, some proof I sent same day

17 August. 11.50.am. my life changed. Settle stattus

Any thing else I can help any body, Please ask .
If I know I will answer..

Thanks

I am a non-EEA national spouse of an Irish National.
Both of us are in UK right now. Wife is working while I am here on a visit visa. Not EEA family permit. Got to know about the Pre settlement status. According to informatiom available on net, my wife already has settled status being an Irish national. So I applied for presettlement just for myself. I have 5 months left on my visit visa.
My time line is as follows

Application submitted : 14 August
Biometrics given in Cardiff for free: 20 August
No COA given

Married: 5 months ago
Arrived to UK: 1 month ago

No BRP or PR with me or wife.

I want an honest opinion. How bad am I doing?

Continuing to my comment above:
1) is there a possibility that I might be refused a PSS at all?
2) Can I apply for EEA family permit or Tier 2 WHILE waiting for my decision on PSS?

Hi, everyone! I am seriously worried right now. I have been living in the UK for about 2 years as a working student. I sent my application for EU pre-settled status about 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to receive a reply. Meanwhile, my father applied a day after I did and he got his status in 3 days time.
Just today, I decided to call the office, and they told me that the possible reason as to why it may be taking so long for me is either because I am under 21 (and applications take longer for that age group) or the photo I took on the app does not match the one in my passport.

The reason why I am worried is because I remember doing everything on the app (taking the photo, scanning my passport) and then being redirected to the Gov.uk website. I decided to not rush to fill it out and left it for about 2 weeks (I don't know why I forgot, I just did). I then decided to finish my application, entered my passport number, answered all the questions, and it said that my picture had already been submitted.

Still, could it be possible, since I filled out the online form 2 weeks after I took the picture, that the photo got erased? The assistant on the phone told me that it is possible that my application still hasn't gone through a case worker, and it is not certain about how long I would have to wait for a response. Should I keep waiting for about 2 more weeks?

hello everybody,

hope my post will help in any way regarding EU settlement scheme application. Here is my experience with it:

I am EU citizen living in the UK for many years. I have applied to a settled status online on 03/09/2019 using my friend’s android mobile phone to upload my passport details (it was easy). Then I logged into HO web and continued with the application. As soon as I entered my NI in the application, the system came up with the message that they were unable to find any data from HMRC in last 6 months for me. I was expecting that because I have been self- employed for number of years so HMRC would not process my self-assessment for 18-19 yet. Therefore, the system gave me an option to either apply for a settled status by providing extra documents for basically last 5 years or apply for pre-settled status by providing some kind of documents for last 6 months. I have all my accounts prepared and on file so of course I submitted documents for last 5 years and applied for settled status. I uploaded 1 or 2 documents for every year, photos of some documents were fine. I was diligent and made sure that everything was submitted- my tax returns, utility bills and council tax bills. I have to say that the system was quite slow with uploading the documents but after 45 min everything was uploaded, and I submitted the application. Next morning, I received an email from HO confirming receipt of a valid application. On 16/09/19 around 7 pm, I finally received an email confirming that I have been granted Indefinite Leave in the UK which is referred as settled status.

So, please do not panic if the system gives you a message that they were unable to find info about you in HMRC database. Just submit some evidence, there is a really long list of evidence you can submit. You can take photos of your documents if you have paper versions.

Good luck and Keep calm and apply for a settled status
