Dear Seagul, seagul wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 6:36 pmA person can meet the financial requirement despite earning weekly/fortnightly/monthly as long as earning sufficiently and be able to attach the required documents. In above example if he is working for his present employer from at least 6 months then he will have to attach 26 weeks of payslips with corresponding bank statements and the employer letter. If his weekly wages is around £360 then he can meet the financial requirement (£360*52= 18720).
It is not mandatory that payslips should be dated sharply on the first day to end day of the month because different employers have different pay days. However, the payslips must cover continuously the last 6 months/26 weeks and the latest payslips must not be older than 28 days from the date of application, e.g in your example the UK's sponsor can use his latest payslips (dated: 19/07/2019 + 28 days) until 16th August 2019.AmazonianX wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 3:04 amDear Seagul, seagul wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 6:36 pmA person can meet the financial requirement despite earning weekly/fortnightly/monthly as long as earning sufficiently and be able to attach the required documents. Thanks very much on the above response, believe it will help someone at some point.
Still using Mr. B as reference. Since he gets his payment weekly, he started his job at the hotel on Monday, 14.01.2019 and by Friday 19.07.2019 is a period of 26wks, will payslips covering this period be acceptable to HO for him to use in support of his wifes's spouse visa application or he has to produce payslips for a period starting on the first day of each month and ending on the last day of the month for a period of 6months to be considered as being suitable?
Thanks.

Out of 26 weeks, 24 weeks were straight work and pay while the last 2 weeks were accumulated paid leave taken by Mr. B as per his employment contract. For clarity purpose please give opinion on below:
Question 1. With the above, can it still be said that he meets up with the 26 weeks/6 months income evidence as the last 2 weeks were paid leave and still can apply under Category A?
Question 2. Does it need to be stated in the Sponsor's covering letter to ECO that last 2 weeks of payment was paid leave?
Thanks.
