What stamp do you get on EU3 application?

Post by masterboy123 » Sat Jul 13, 2019 1:28 pm

Do we get Stamp4 or Stamp4EUFAM once EU3 application has granted? :?:

Also, does the EU national still require to exercise rights (working, studying, etc) once EU3 application has approved? :|

The EU citizen is not required to exercise treaty rights after that PR has been expired.

I would like to see the template letter for EU3, without the personal details.

It is designed to last for 10 years and the person will no longer be dependent on the EU citizen, even if they left the state.

I am waiting to get my EU3 approved, it's been 8 months already and I am on temporary stamp 4 (not EUFAM). I will show the template once I get it.

What about before the expiry of 10 years stamp? Does EU citizen need to exercise rights? Say I get approval after 2 months for EU3 application, does my EU spouse still need to continue working or studying after 4 months?

Temporary stamp 4 given for 6 months in the last week only.

I am waiting for 8 months now and you?

Also do you know if EU spouse need to continue exercising rights, that is working, studying or living with sufficient resources?

After PR , the EEA national does not need to exercise treaty rights any longer.

Were you required to go with the EEA national to the Garda.

Hi Obie,

I am looking for this info. Could you please tell me if there is an official statement available that EU spouse doesn't have to exercise their rights?
On a friends letter it says “ if any circumstances had changes ,onus is on you to notify the office "

And yes, EU spouse needed to go together to the Garda.

Yes ,my spouse came with me and it stated on a letter also, but technically just a quick visit to Garda as we all lives local here as he already knows us ,our house and community and if I ever need to renew again under Eu I still need to file the form 3 and start whole process again that what I was told.

I can’t give you a definite answer but as under EU law your Eu spouse need to exercise their right to keep your immigration status and on form 3 they ask you as well, isn’t it what is your Eu spouse activity in the state? So I guess your future PR is still depending on her/him ,unless as you can see in this forum from times to time Divorce/ separate then that another story I guess

Yes, me too tired with visa, updating EU office of any changes, etc.

I have also applied for citizenship. Do you think citizenship office will take into consideration that I have 10 years residence permit?

I went to local Gardai Station yesterday.
It seems EU Treaty office are sending instructions to your local garda office and they haven't received this letter from EU Treaty office and so Gardai advised me to come again next week.

5 years ago when I got EU1 application approved, this was not the case and they issued GNIB card based on the letter that I showed them.
