ILR application and Tier 2 dependant extension

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for an ILR in Sep '19 under the tier - 2 general route. My wife who is currently on tier 2 dependent wouldn't finisht 5 years by that time. Should we be applying for a tier 2 extension along with my ILR application or can we wait till next year (Sep 2020) when her current visa comes to an end ?

Thank you for your response ! So when I apply for my ILR, there is no need to provide any information about my wife's current status ? and would her tier-2 dependent remain as is, till she applies for an extension or applies for an ILR ?
