All the best..

Some of us applied since June...
Hopefully before Xmas(6months)
We have more news to talk about..
I have sincerely stopped worrying about it.
The thought of it is stressful and nerve wrecking I am just going to carry on working and save up for my renewal next summer..
And if I am granted wawu and if not life goes on and I will keep renewing..
I am not been negative I am just preparing myself ahead..
Good luck to us all...
That’s the spirit, thanks a lot.

@Chi’smum do you have a derivative residency? Did you receive COA if yes when was it? You need to involve your local MP as it’s taking too long. Did you say your kids have been granted settled status considering they are not five years yet? Also I think you should have done their application first before yours. I’m on Chen too. I submitted my application in July

Hi
Applied settled status under zambrano career .
Application on 21/06/19
Biometrics done on 4/07/
Coa on 15/08/19
We applied under eu rules. I don't understand why it is taking so long. It is not right. I am so stressed about it. I don't what to do anymore. No one who applied under zambrano rules received an answer. This is just no rights.
I am so upset with them
Sorry guys about that
Thanks you

I heard some people are receiving letters after COA which enables them to work, has anyone received anything similar?

Yes i have a derivative rights
Yes they were both granted indefinite leave to remain and their application was made by me
Yes Mp got involved and like others there is no standard time for replying an appllication as decisions is made on a case by case basis was the reply my mp got and that they would reply me soonest
I have support letters from the family court and social services that i am my children primary carer so thete is no doubt in that area .
Their dad has been here for 7 years and we where leaving togethet as partners 3years in that 7years
So i guess thats why they were both granted indefinite leave to remain when i did their application

Yes you can do it yourself. The person to counter sign must know you the mum filling the for for the past 2 or 3 years. Then add the old passport to the form

I called the resolution centre a couple of days ago to ask how long paper applications are taking before we get a reply under the settlement scheme. And the lady said its taking a number of months. I asked if they have a time frame and she said no. That I have to keep waiting till I hear from them or till they need from evidence from me.

So the waiting is still on till God knows when.

It’s the same for everyone but everyone’s case is different so you might get your decision earlier or later than the standard 4-6months. Keep the faith

I would think she can apply for EU Settlement Scheme as she already holds a derivative card.

Dear All,

Just seeing if anyone can provide some advice for my friend.

My friend has a paper Immigration status document due to expire on the 21 Aug 2019. It is a derivative residence card.

She is a Chinese national with two British children and the partner is a British national he is the father of the two children. They continue to live together as a family.

We have called the EU Settlement Resolution Centre and explained the circumstances to them but where told the EU settlement scheme does not apply and that she must make another type of application.

Thanks in advance.

The COA should state that you may already have the right to work in the UK by virtue of European Law. Employers are advised to check with the HO through the employee checking service. My friend had 2.5 under Appendix FM. She made Zambrano application before her BRP expired. She recently attended an interview with the NHS and her COA was accepted together with her non EU passport. She said they took COA into a room for about 15 minutes and came back to tell her that "your ID check was excellent". She is awaiting her DBS check to start work. Note, she is already working though.

In short the COA should allow you to work until you hear otherwise from the HO.

The confusion is that this topic is only for Zambrano applicants. So if it doesn't apply to you, please don't post here.

Keep your hair on! You posted under Zambrano! Next time try staying on your separated EEA family member lane!
I don't think no one needs you here gloating about 'nobody yet'.

I applied for zambrano carer under the eu settlement but still waiting a decision, but I'm thinking of plan B. I presently hold 2.5years leave to remain under 10years route which is due to expire soon. Does anyone know if I can switch to 5 years route? I am a single parent, my child has learning disability and I get carer allowance as her carer. I am sorry if this question is not allowed here, I just thought someone might know. Please accept my apology in advance

I think you're very much welcomed here. We have similar situations, in terms of having a specail needs child. I hold a Zambrano Residence card though.

I'm patiently waiting
