Urgent: RQF level mention

Post by krishna_lfc » Mon Aug 19, 2019 2:07 pm

Hello All,

I cannot seem to find the RQF level mentioned in the UK NARIC certiicate anywhere. They've just mentioned master's degree. is the RQF level mentioned anywhere at all in the application?

Thank you,

No, it simply needs to state it meets the degree taught in English and comparable to UK degree.

Also, just out of curiosity. What purpose does an RQF 7 serve as opposed to and RQF 6? Do they compare this level with the job you're being posted to?

Thank you again! :)

Question: rCoS Form - Eligibility

Post by krishna_lfc » Mon Aug 19, 2019 4:48 pm

Hello all,

When the sponsor applies for the rCoS, does it also provide the candidate's detail and qualification to the HO?

Please desist from starting new topics with each question on the same application.

announcements/multiple-posts-will-be-lo ... t5722.html

Also suggest you read the links in the first topic below which contains the sponsor guidance notes and the RCoS allocation process.

Sorry about that. Will keep in mind.

I just wished to know that before HO provides the rCoS to the sponsor, do they already have details / qualifications of the candidate?

Thank you again

Likely yes as the sponsor has to prove why YOU were selected.

As I obtained my Master's degree is France, but here they call it 'diplome' which is often translated to as 'diploma' instead of 'degree'. Would this be a cause of concern?

Thank you

Your degree needs to be assessed by naric, red route, for the English and comparable assessment.

I'm trying to attach a screenshot but unable to.

However, I received the certificate from UK NARIC (Red) for both english and comparable assessment.

Your UK NARIC Reference Number: xxxxxxxx

Your UK NARIC evaluation is as follows:

Country of Study: France
Qualification Title: xxxxx
Awarding Institution: xxxxx
Year of Award: 2018
UK Qualification Level: Master's Degree
Additional Information: Although no final certificate has been provided, evidence of successful course completion has been provided.

Does the last line disclaimer have an impact in any way?

Thank you once again and apologies @CR001 for creating the separate thread. Will post my questions here.

Best,
Kris

Another question.

Does it matter if the recruited candidate has a master's degree in management but the job posted during the RLMT was master's in data analytics? Does this create an issue as long as the RQF is master's degree (i.e 7?)

Thank you,
There is no online HO/UKVI portal etc to check the status of your application.

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre mail : 23th June 2019

Thought TLS has a portal where one can check the updates.
