Bank statements

Post by venerax88 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:42 pm

Hi,

I understand that I will need to provide 1-3 months of bank statements for ILR application. Do these statements need to be stamped by the bank if these are originals which were sent to my home address by post?

Also, the issue date of my first tier 2 general visa is 7 October 2014. With the 28 days rule, does this mean I can apply for ILR on 10 September 2019?

Are P60 statements necessary as well?

No

9th Sep 2019 but I would personally still give extra 2/3 days on top

letter from employer

Post by venerax88 » Thu Aug 22, 2019 8:18 am

Hi,

I know I have to provide a letter from my employer which states all my absences from the UK and confirmation that I'm still required for the foreseable future.

Does this letter needs to be signed by my HR director? Or is it ok if it's signed by any HR personnel (below director level)? My HR director is on leave and won't be back before my planned application date, hence this question.

Mine was signed by a HR employee and it was accepted so you should be ok.

Thank you for your advice. Does the letter need to be dated within one month of the application date or something like that? For example, if my application date is 9 September 2019, is it ok if the letter is dated 22/08/2019?

Yes. As long as it is within a month of your application date (i.e. date you submit and pay online) you should be alright.
