Tier 2 change of employer (Start and end date of current visa)

Hello All,

Hope someone from you might help me out on below querry,

I am on Tier 2 general visa as Accounts Manager (SOC : 3538) and have been offered a s role of Product development manager (SOC : 3545) .

My question is if I make my change of employment application is there any chance of it's rejection due to different SOC code am moving into ?

Change of SOC requires RLMT, appropriate experienced rate Salary as per SOC and a valid COS if these are met along side correct form, fees and documents.

Dear Members,

I am filling up the form for Tier 2 General change of employment form online and am confused about one of the questions on form,

1. What is the start date of your current visa or leave to remain ?

Question : What will be start date...

One on BRP (Place and date of issue) is 16 /12/2016

Or

One on paper visa in passport (Valid from) : 30/12/2016

Any help will be great in this regards.

How is the paper visa date after the BRP?

Im sure you havew the paper visa first and then obtained the BRP?

One get's BRP once in UK hence no one knows what will be Date of Issue on it, only thing I got was a month visa from 30th Dec hence the dilemma...

yes, you get a one months paper visa with which you intially entered the UK

SO thats the start date!

Once you got in, you must have collected the BRP within 10 days

My question was, the dates youve mentioned are confusing as Paper visa is 30th dec so you should have gone to the uk after 30 dec and got BRP after that!

Apologies if I might have confused anyone.

You are correct I entered UK after 30th Dec and collected the BRP from local post office.

Just to confirm 'Valid From' date on one month paper visa will be the Start date correct ?

Apologies for asking again bur just want to re-confirm before submitting the application.

As just got to know Valid From date on passport paper visa (vignette) is aligned to 'Intended travel Date' applicant enters in tier 2 application.

Can anyone please clarify on the confusion as which date needs ot referred...
