Do not have IELTS for Tier 2 !

Hello,

I am from India.
Currently a master student in UK, I have received my CoS sponsorship for work. For switching my Tier 4 to Tier 2 General Visa following are the queries:

1. Do i need NO OBJECT LETTER from the university, since the university sponsored for my Tier 4 ?

2. One of document requirement is "official transcript to prove the level of English language requirement".
For this,I have not taken any English test,
Whether my UK University current registration letter is suffix ? (Since it takes some time to get the degree certificate)
Or my Bachelor India University Degree certificate is suffix ? (If yes, should i apply UK-NARIC for confirmation letter?)
Or should i ask University to provide an particular letter to fulfill this requirement?

It would be really helpful for me if anyone could respond.

1. No you don't need a letter from the university.

2. You need a UK degree or for a foreign degree you need ukvi naric red route, English and comparable assessment or you need the English test. All explained clearly on the home office website.

Does that mean students who are already on Tier 4 Visa, do not require to submit any proof for English requirement??

The English requirement for students is different to Tier 2.

Tier 2 Policy Guidance (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 8-2019.pdf) says:

157. You will be awarded 10 points for English language where you have met the English
language requirement in a previous grant of leave. This will be the case if you have ever
been granted leave:
...
- as a Tier 4 (General) student, where the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies used to
support your application for that grant was assigned on or after 21 April 2011. If you are
applying for Tier 2 (Minister of Religion), the Certificate of Acceptance of Studies must
also have been assigned for a course of at least degree level study.

So, my CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for studies) is enough to prove my English language requirement?
