First application for a visa of pakistani spouse of a British Citizen

Post by Evicra » Fri Aug 23, 2019 4:52 pm

hi all.
my Brother’s Nikah(marriage ceremony already took place in April 2019 in Pakistan. the only main requirement that I found important was 18600 or over financial requirement. but i would be more than happy if you guys put me on a right path to start preparing application for my brother's Spouse which will be around end of year 2019.as marriage will take place around dec 2019 in pakistan InShaAllah

1. he is getting paid 19200 from April 2019 onward before that he was on 12400£ PA.
2. his 6 months’ payslip with should show gross pay of minimum 18600 or over PA
3. bank statements showing you or your partner’s income for last 6 months showing exact amount paid in bank
4. letter from employer,
The employer’s letter should confirm:
you or your partner are employed there
the job title or position you or your partner hold
how long you or your partner have worked there
the type of contract (for example, permanent, fixed term)
what you or your partner earn before tax and National Insurance
how long you or your partner have been paid your current salary
the payslips are genuine
6. wife’s knowledge of English Certificate

Your input is highly appreciated
Thanks

2. Simply put 6 months pay slip to show gross minimum of £9300
3. HO's interest is in the sponsor's bank statement not that of the applicant except where
a) it's joint account in both names
b) using applicants savings

Also remember that your sponsor must have arranged sufficient sized accomodation either with private landlord or with parents/friend/relative. Also you will need to attach proof of subsisting relations evidences such as whatsapp chat/call logs, travel tickets, exit/entry stamps, wedding pictures, money/gift sending receipts etc. Nikkah nama should be translated into English and usually if its issued from union council then it should have both version which will be sufficient.

It is not OK. This is one of the areas where HO needs to work on. The information provided is not adequate not to talk of exhaustive. If applicants go by whats they provide application will fail.

my question is regarding accommodation please.

1. do i have to get some special inspection report from some agency to prove that the house is not overcrowded
2. or simply a letter from our estate agent would be enough.

please advise what is the best option to follow in order to prove availability of suitable accommodation
thank you

Housing inspection report is usually needed when you are living with none-related adults. It can be prepared by any reasonably established surveyor.

we rented this house since july 2015.
it’s my brother (at the moment in Pakistan who is going to apply for his spouse visa) my wife ,our 2 daughters age 4 , 7 and 2 months old son living in this house.
do i still have to get inspection report if not would a letter from our estate agent be enough.
i would be very thank full if you suggest the best safest option in this scenario as refusal would cost us too much
thanks
