FLR M Visa extension . Help please !

Post by Is2019 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 4:22 pm

Hi all, would really appreciate advice on my wife’s flr m extensions . In summary :
She arrived August 2016 on 6 months fiancé visa
Feb 2017 - Flr m 30 months approved
Sept 2019 - flr is due to be extended

1) I work 2 part time jobs which makes up more than the required income . Should there be any issues here as I have all payslips ?
2) me and my wife have moved address 3 times over last 2 years . The correspondence letters are scattered over these 3 addresses . will this be ok ?
3) I accidentally paid for the IHS charge fee too early . There’s still more than 28 days left until the visa expiry date . Is this ok ? I have not submitted the application yet .
4) I start a new job in November 2019. Will this affect the visa application ?

1. If either of the job alone giving sufficient income then only use that income under category A if working for your employer from 6 months otherwise apply under category B and supply 12 months of payslips from both jobs with bank statements.

2. Yes should be fine.

3. Maybe covering letter sort it out

4. Preferably don't start new job until visa approval unless you combining it with other part-time jobs.

1. One part time job is £19000 but this has been since I had a pay rise in April and before that it was under £18000. The second job is just under £18000.

I have 12 months payslips and statements do not an issue

My FLR M visa expires 23/9/19 so I was proactive in completing the application . However I have just paid for the IHS not realising I have more than 28 days left ...

I have not submitted the application but will it be an problem that I have done IHS so early and not same time as application ???

Questions about online documents for flr m?

Post by Is2019 » Fri Aug 30, 2019 10:08 am

Hi all

I have completed the flr m and now have the documents to upload online . Just a few questions :

- do all the pages of the passports have to be scanned ? ( most are blank !)
- at the biometrics centre , do they check it all ?
- can I attach a pdf of my bank statements? Or do I have to print out and then scan ?

Any tips or advice most welcome

- do all the pages of the passports have to be scanned ? ( most are blank !)
I only scanned pages with something on it (data, stamps, etc.) with the thinking they can ask for the rest if necessary. Can't confirm yet whether this is a successful strategy yet, but can't hurt scanning every page either.

- at the biometrics centre , do they check it all ?
Not unless you pay extra for their "premium" scanning and/or document checking services. They will tell you they have done a quality check on the documents you have uploaded to ensure they are readable, but that's it.

- can I attach a pdf of my bank statements? Or do I have to print out and then scan ?
It has to be an original or a copy of an original with bank letterhead (or letter accompanying the statements confirming they are correct). With the thinking it is ridiculous to print out and scan something that is already a pdf, I uploaded the pdf version of my statements, which are the exact same as the paper ones anyway. Again, can't confirm whether this was a successful strategy yet. I also ordered paper copies as a backup in case they ask for something else/different. They seem to be moving towards acceptance of electronic documents, but all guidance is still worded towards only accepting original versions of things.
