Update: today the long-awaited letter has arrived. The system has not failed me and I am pleased to report that during 12 years living in the UK starting as a student, then work, then settlement, and now citizenship it was all about respecting the rules and regulations. So dear fellow members, keep yourself up-to-date with the regulations and respect the rules and chances are everything should work very well. A big thank you to this forum and its moderators because it has raised my awareness and understanding of the UK immigration system and I never needed a lawyer. I do not want to make this sounds too easy because it does require that you keep yourself up-to-date to avoid every possible error as much as you can throughout your journey.

Ceremony update: called the council on the number provided within the Homeoffice letter, and a friendly lady confirmed they have my name and that I should be expecting an invitation letter within a few days.
