Tier 2 to ILR

Post by Ambika88 » Wed Sep 04, 2019 6:43 am

Hi,

Currently in the UK. Came on tier 2 general in Aug 2016 and visa expired on Aug 2019. Had my visa appointment on 2nd August 2019 (priority service). So I should have received my visa in 5-10 days which I haven't till now.
1. Is the delay because I'm on maternity leave right now and will be joining work next month?
2. I'm planning to work from India for next 2 months and then on annual leave for 1.5 months. So total of 3.5 months will be outside the UK. So will this affect my ILR application?

Thanks in advance.

Your post isn't clear. Have you applied for an extension or ILR :?:

Thanks for your reply.

No will be completing 5 years on aug 2021 (aug 2016- aug 2021). So if I'm applying in future, will this 3.5 months (approx 100 days) outside UK (working from home 2 months + holiday 1.5 months) affect my ILR application?
