As you suggest, AshJK, I'll start a new thread ending with "Switching Status" instead of "CoA and decision time".
Anyway, on point, I think the new thread would have to be titled to end with 'Discriminatory Settled status period requirement'. Or something very specific that captures the point.
The user has started a separate topic now, please continue responding there as you asked.
AshJK, agree that new thread name ending with "Discriminatory Settled status period requirement" is more appropriate. If acceptable to Moderator, could re-start separate thread (and perhaps have "Switching Status" thread deleted)?

If you know her 16 DIGIT APPLICATION NUMBER then u should link it.

It depends how long will it take. A friend of mine who applied having same situation like you got his status in 19 days.

I think it depends on the case worker. The case worker who phoned my friend he was very very very helpful. Thats what my friend said.

So make a covering letter explained him your immigration history with exact dates and apply. By the Grace of God you will get it.

@askmeplz82 motivated me alot and some other fellow members.

So just go ahead. Good luck

Hi hrak1978
Can you ask that your friend and post his full history please. Its getting worse it’s been almost 4 months.
Thank you

Does anyone know if I am supposed to receive a biometric residence card after I’ve been granted pre-settled status? I applied using my Ancestry Visa biometric residence card.

I applied on the 27 of July, my biometrics were taken on the 7th of August... I am still waiting, I haven’t even received my COA ... nothing, I have called them they admitted that my application is taking longer than normal, and the only reason it seems to be that I am not actually a EU citizen. They actually told me that they can’t tell me how much longer it is going to take, it could be a week or several months. This is mental, when you go to the guidelines it does not mention MONTHS...

@iibdii

From my experience not more than 10 days. But wait max 15 days then call them.
{ I'm not a solicitor, legal professional or immigration advisor, all of my posts are based on my online search and my own PR, ILR (LR), 2 FTT and 2 UTT refused but finally after 3 years of long battle I got my SETTLED STATUS. }

Hi Guys,

I am a South African married to an Italian passport holder.

Applied for the EEA FP. Did the application on 22nd August 2019. Did biometrics 23rd August 2019.

Got a mail on the 2nd September 2019 stating :

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

Is it 15 days waiting from the time I got that mail or 15 days since I did biometrics ?

Hi everyone,
Can you please answer what are the next steps for Non-EU citizens after we did biometrics? I thought we'd need to post the passport, but after reading some other replies here got confused.

If we don't have to post the passport, who has to do it as it's clearly mentioned in the process for Non-EU applications?

Thank you!

When you go to do your biometrics ,your passport will be scanned as well.So remember to carry your passport for your biometric.Good luck.

Yes true 3 years of marriage.

And

Yes proof of relationship the strongest one is a Marriage certificate.

So yes its enough
