ILR queries

Post by sya1 » Wed Sep 11, 2019 12:46 pm

Hello Everyone,
I have a few questions and was wondering if someone can help with them.

I came to UK in 2014 on Tier 2 General visa, and will be applying for my ILR very soon. The questions I have are.

1. Is Set O the right application for me?
2. In 2017 September I had a driving offence and was given 3 penalty points and £100 fine which was paid subsequently. I have mentioned this in the application, however, I was wondering if this will affect my application.
3. When I had my initial Tier 2 visa application I had given IELTS in 2013, which I used for the visa application. Can I use the same one now for my ILR application?
4. I got married in December 2015 and my wife joined me in uk in Jan 2016. I should apply for her extension visa on PBS extension. Can I apply for her visa right now or how soon after my ILR visa should I apply for her visa? Her present tier 2 general dependant is till August 2020.

Thank you in advance.

Yes

It has no effect
3. When I had my initial Tier 2 visa application I had given IELTS in 2013, which I used for the visa application. Can I use the same one now for my ILR application?
Only If the test center is still on the approved list
4. I got married in December 2015 and my wife joined me in uk in Jan 2016. I should apply for her extension visa on PBS extension. Can I apply for her visa right now or how soon after my ILR visa should I apply for her visa? Her present tier 2 general dependant is till August 2020.
Apply when her visa is about to expire.
