SET LR application form missing part

Post by mohic » Wed Sep 11, 2019 2:25 pm

Hi,

I am in similar situation macmad, I have made an ILR Long Residence application yesterday, though i have filled the correct form which is SET(LR), for some reason i do not have Sections for "English Language Test" and "Life in the Test". And on my mandatory document list those are not listed. I am not sure what i have done wrong. I do not even remember filling those section which later i realise not right.

I do not know if the form is wrong as it says SET(LR) and i have been charged the correct amount. I still have to book for my Bio-metric and to submit documents. After spoken with both Sopra and UKVI i am getting conflicting information. I want to withdraw the application but do not know how. Have tried the link above by Zimba which telling me i will not get a refund if i withdraw. It is quite a bit of stressful.

If some of the moderators can provide some advise would be really helpful.

Thanks

1. Please do not tag onto other topics that are not relevant to your question.

2. It is a glitch in the form. You still need to upload the LIUK and English requirement documents, they are mandatory.

Here is the link to the UKVI guide on the matter: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... .0-ext.pdf

As you have NOT enrolled your biometrics, you should get a full refund.
Withdraw the application and you should get a full refund

Hi CR007,

Sorry to bother you again.

I have spoken with Sopra and they did not confirm it was a Glitch. Also in Documents upload section there is no 'mandatory' field only 'optional'. Sopra also confirmed i do not have any mandatory documents only optional. It is making me really confused. So i have a few more questions if someone can answer i will really appreciate it.

1. How do i know if it is a glitch in the form? (Sopra does not seem to know)

2. If i go ahead with the application and provide Bio-metric, Does Sopra has authority to change sections on the form? (i am not sure about the process from there).

3. Is there any other options i have? For example if i want to make a new application.

Thank you.

1. Because you are not the only that has had this problem. Note that sopra is only a third party agent, they are not ho staff or employees.

2. No they cannot change the form and neither can you once you have submitted and paid.

3. There is no need to. Simply upload the mandatory liuk and English requirement evidence.

Thank you Zimba and CR007. I really appreciate the help. I am still not sure what i do as both of these options seem viable. Most probably i will go ahead with bio-metric as i have filled the correct form and i still have options if HO need further docs or asking me to re do the application form i will get 10 days. Lets see.
