employer missed a call from HOME OFFICE

Post by redcarpert » Thu Sep 05, 2019 11:54 am

Moderators i need your help with this please :(

I had a phone interview on 30 August 2019 from home office asking infomration about applicant and job, call lasted 25 minutes. Then on 3 September 2019 same lady phoned in the morning asking for my employer contact number, i gave her the number. she phoned my employer in the morning but he told me that he had missed a call from a private number as he was asleep, i told him it was HO she requested your number.

What's going to happen now? will they attempt to phone again? or will they make a decision based on what they got? since then he never recieved the call again

please advice

Hi, Sorry I'm not a moderator.

I'm not entirely sure how it works but I personally think if they need to speak to employer they will call again. Did they prearrange an interview with you or was it a random call? What questions did they ask? Also what is your timescale as I want to find out how early or late in the process they call applicants? thanks and goodluck.

It's a LTD Company, does that make a different? He missed another call in the mornings, the problém is he works until 7am and he got the call in the mornings while he was alsleep.

I don't know what to do now, i don't know wither they will phone again or not as i believe they phoned twice already. I don't know if i should email and tell them the situation or not?

Is there any reason that you know why your case is not straight forward and been delayed for so long?

Yes when she phoned i gave her his personal mobile number. He is the only manager and he is the only director and man with power in the company, he has no other managers.

its a dessert place, only known in the area. i've done a research and it says that ECO has no time to do further investigation or further chasing, they only go with the information they have

I personally don't think there was anything not straightforward in my case, when i made a complain, they said that background checks takes time both for applicant and sponsor, well thats what they claim

Hi,

Let me know how it goes for you? no more calls since?
Not what i'm aware of no. whats your timeline?
Applied from Pakistan.

Application submitted 22nd june
biometrics 4th july
docs scanned at vfs 9th july
email from eco consideration 12th july

You got 11 more days left for the 12 weeks period, in sha allah you will hear good news from them soon. I advice you don't nag them by phoning them, leave it and in sha allah they will be in touch to tell you when a decision has been made. good luck, keep me updated and i'll do the same in sha allah

Thanks for the kind words. In Shaa Allah you will hear good news very soon. It'll be worth the long wait for you. Hopefully mine doesn't exceed the 12 weeks. It's long enough as it is. I'm not going to message or anything before he 12 weeks at all

I am in similar situation. I have applied for my husband spouse settlement visa as on 28th August 2019 on Priority request which is 30 working days. I received call from HO yesterday 03/10/2019 where similar questions were asked in regards to my employment. I work in a huge company which is established since 1841 and has around 2500 employees. Can you guys tell me how long after the call did you get the VISA result? I am quite confused as 30 workings days would be as on October 13th 2019. Any related response is much appreciated. Thank you all.
