As the duration differs vastly with country you apply(esp. for pathetic UK HO), its better to have a separate thread for UK applicantsâ€¦.

Tier 1 Fresh Application from UK
Application Date - 14th June 2008 (Its a Saturday and HO received it on 17th)
Fees taken - 18th June
Ref No. Allocated - 18th June
Status - No Update
Passport received - No update

I spoke with the lady who runs a visa company downstairs from my office and she said that the HM is currently reviewing applications dated roughly 15 June now.

HI All,
I called HO CS today to enquire about my status and he said they are currently working on applications which was recvd on 3rd of June...

This guy's name is Malvin and he didn't give me any fixed time, when I asked him about the approx time when June 14th(My date) applications will be processed....

Reading the replies on the topic seems like this week they are dealing with the aplications filed in the 1st week of june. The que seems to be moving now. Keep on posting your timlines and any response from HO guys.

I called up HO yesterday and enquired about the above link. The HO representative clarified that this link refers to Workpermit applications only. Tier 1 refers to Workpermit Tier 1, that's what he said. And he said that the timelines for UK applications for Tier 1 is not posted in the website.

The HO man said that currently the are processing applications received on 3rd June 2008.

For your information, my details are as below :

Application sent : 16th June 2008 by Royal mail next day delivery from UK
Received by HO : 17th June 2008
Reference letter dated : 17th June 2008 (received on 23rd June 2008)
Current Status : Waiting

Please post, if there are any approvals during last 2 days.

My details are:

Applied on : 16-June-2008 for WP to Tier 1 from UK
Money Deducted/ Ref. no. dated : 17-June-2008
Current Status : Waiting

Called HO on 14th and came to know that they are currently processing applications as of 3rd June. I did not hear any change in this status till then. Does that mean, they are still processing 3rd June application. It must have progressed.

Please post, if anyone is having any change in status.

Looking at the public responses on immigrationboards and trackitt websites looks like HO is getting rid of the cases filed before the may08 at the moment. might be the case that thier priority has changed from doing new cases on to getting rid of the backlog.

I just called today and they said they are considering Tier 1 applications submitted June 10.

I submitted mine on June 30 and sent in a request for urgent treatment last week, but they said my case still isn't in the database.

Is there anyone out there who has made a request for urgent treatment lately and gotten a response?

I called up Home office and was told that my case is with Case worker's manager to have a closer look.

Can any one comment ? ? ?.. will it mean any thing?

Did anyone called HO to check wht date applications they are working on??

Another thing i wanted to check is, when we call HO they say they are dealing with a certain date application. Is that date, the date when they recieved the application or the date when the payment got cleared??

Hi there,

I applied for WP to Tier1 on 26 June 08. For maintenance funds i have submitted only one lloyds TSB intermediate statement for june 08, showing closing balance as desired, taking the advantage of transition period for maintenance funds.

My only query/concern is, i deposited the required funds in june 08 only. Can it be a problem in the way of getting my application approved ??

Does any one know say, after they finished with the 10 June's, would they move on to 11 June's applications or the applications within the next week or does it depend on the volumn?
