Need the best barrister in London?

Post by 4dec » Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:43 pm

Hi, would like to know who is one of the best barristers to represent me at the Upper Tribunal?
If you can help, I’ll very much appreciate it, thanks!

That’s not a problem, I should’ve read the policy statement or the FAQ’s. I learn from my mistakes and don’t tend to repeat them. Just a quick question; it would be ok if someone Pm’d me?

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

If you expect any useful advise, it is useful to state what your full UK immigration history is including all dates etc.

Is it an error of law to say?

Post by 4dec » Fri Sep 20, 2019 2:48 pm

Hi,
That it’ll be not harsh but unduly harsh to deport me(not because of children)considering that this applies to 117c (5) or can this expression be used outside of 117c (5)?

I’d be grateful if members can shed some light on this, many thanks!

Can you please stop starting new topics with each vague questions. Topics merged again!!!

You have also already been asked to provide your full UK immigration history. Otherwise no one can offer advice as no one knows your circumstances.

I thought the whole point of this forum is to get answers, learn, ask, etc. I'm quite astonished by the hostility I'm receiving by your good self.
"You have also already been asked to provide your full UK immigration history. Otherwise no one can offer advice as no one knows your circumstances."
I think, with all due respect, I've asked a specific question which is not difficult for someone in the know how to answer and the whole immigration history, at this point, is irrelevant.

Actually, it would be very relevant.

The law and its application is made up of many moving parts and it is not much use knowing how one specific part works, because the whole machinery may disregard the action of that specific part or may not work with it in the same way if certain variables are changed.

If you expect any meaningful assistance with your case, I would suggest stating your entire immigration history. A month/year level of detail is sufficient in most cases.

Also, given that your question was about Section 117C, which relates to people who have been adjudged to have committed crimes, the type of crime and sentence, and any countervailing family life (and why and how deportation would be harsh on them/the quality of family life), would be very relevant and pertinent to the advice that would be given.
I am not a lawyer or immigration advisor. My statements/comments do not constitute legal advice. E&OE. Please do not PM me for advice.
