Hi CR001,

I am currently filling Tier2 Dependent Extension Application form for my Wife and Children.. At the end (in the mandatory documents section) it asking to provide for below... I wanted to check with you that whether what I am providing is correct ?

1. Proof of Mrs XXXX's relationship status as the married or civil partner of Mr XXXX
Is that be OK if I show marriage certificate ?

2. Document showing you and your partner are living together (for example, a utility bill, council
tax bill or bank statement)
My wife's name and my name is there only on Water Bill.. is that be sufficient ?

Thanks in advance..
Hi,

Yes, CR001 is clarified on this (please look at previous posts).

Hi CR001,

Thanks a lot for your help...

Just a small question.. In single application form, I am adding my wife and also 2 dependent children...

How do I need to pay IHS fee ? like
a. I need to pay 3 times (and enter 3 IHS numbers in the application form)
or
b. just pay one time for all members and enter one IHS number?

Thanks in advance.
Hi CR001,

Any Idea on above query?

HI CR001,

URGENT HELP please.

In IHS site, I have tried to enter all of my 3 dependents and also my details along with my visa expiry date (31/12/2024). There, it shows total to be paid for IHS is £6600... but visa we are applying for Tier2 extension is 3 years.. I assumed to pay £36000 for 3 dependents but current figure is too much to me.

1. Is there any way to reduce that amount? (like changing of my visa expiry date)

You need to out your ilr expiry date as date september 2022 to get the correct IHS of £1200 per applicant.

Hi CR001,

Thanks a lot for your huge suggestion.
I wanted to try for your suggestion. When It redirects me from UKVI application to IHS site, it is not showing me the details which I need to edit instead it showing directly payment summary.

Can you please help me what I need to do to edit my details on the IHS site ?

Not sure if paying the IHS separately in the IHS website will work so probably easier to start a whole new application again.

Hi CR001,

Thanks a lot for your help earlier.

I have submitted the application but my next available appointment will be in the month of October but my depends visa is expiring in 7 days time. Can you please confirm whether there is a problem with this scenario ?

Also, I have already prepared all the latest documents (dated in September) for the dependents applications, as appointment is in October do I need to prepare the documents again (just to have latest updated dates on documents) ?

Thanks in advance

No issue.

Documents must be dated on or before the date you submitted online.

Thanks CR001,

So, even though my appointment in October, my document dated in September are still valid ? (please note that some of the documents will become more than 30 days by that appointment)

The date of application is the date you submitted and paid online. Your date of appointment is irrelevant.

Hi CR001,

I have done the VISA payment on Friday since then UKVI website showing below message. Have you seen any other posts who are facing similar to below ? (I just wanted to check whether this problem is only to me or even for others)?

"We are currently experiencing issues with our downloadable document checklist.
This feature has been temporarily disabled and we are working as quickly as possible to fix
the problem. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Thanks in advance.

Hi CR001,

Thanks a lot for above (for some reason I am still seeing same error even today)

Just wanted to check with you on below (though below is a future question).
My dependents got their Tier 2 Dependent visa on 5th Jan 2018 but entered to UK on 27th Jan 2018.

When they will be eligible for ILR?
1. before 28 Days of 5th Jan 2018 (Visa Granted)
or
2. before 28 Days of 27th Jan 2018 (date entry to UK)

Thanks in advance.

It counts from initial visa ISSUE date (as the rules stand now).

Hi CR001,

I have submitted (with payment) all of my dependents application before expiry of their visa and I have booked their appointment too in October.

Now, their VISA expired.. Is it possible to change the appointment date to another date as I can see only "cancel appointment" option in UKVCAS

Thanks in advance.

Hi CR001,

The only reason is that I wanted to book an appointment in my children's school holidays.
If there is a big (or problematic) process then I am happy to go with my current appointment date. Please suggest.

Thanks in advance

I don't think you can change it now.

The school will give you the time off for a visa application I'd you speak to them.
