Still waiting.. Day 48 of Priority application

Application was escalated on 19th September - 15 working days was complete on 10th October. Called UKVI and was told the application was still undergoing checks. Haven't re-escalated, as it's such a waste of time.

Haven't received a 'case not straight forward e-mail' - so not sure what they are actually doing...

60 working days will be complete on the 30th of October - guess I will have to wait until then :'(

As stated on several threads on this forum, such circumstances as you have described including the priority application does not guarantee that the HO will work on or consider the application faster. You can only pray and hope they do and all goes well with you.

Hi

It might be worth starting your own topic so your questions aren't lost in this thread which is mainly for people waiting on decisions.

After attending biometrics, depending on the centre you attend, the sponsor may receive a text message and/or e-mail confirming the application has been forwarded to UKVI. You should then receive an e-mail from UKVI confirming they have received the application - having said that, there are numerous people on here who did not receive these e-mails/texts and have received outcomes on their applications.

For a priority application, you are looking at about 30 working days from the date of biometrics, provided your case is straight forward. Do bear in mind that some applications are not decided within this timeframe.

Hope this helps.

Good luck with your husband!

I got a call today (16/10/19) from UKVI asking me (the sponsor) about my employment as I've had two jobs in the last 12 months. It lasted 36mins, they asked about my jobs, salary, role, how I applied, what the building looks like, who I work with. So it was a bit bizarre in that sense.

They said they'd now contact my employers both past and present.

Also Fif, I asked if they'd received all the documentation and they said they'd received everything even with the awful VFS upload.

But I haven't had the "your case is not straight forward" email yet.

Hi Zak,

That's great about them being able to see your documents! You won't receive a case not straight forward e-mail this soon in the process. It's usually close to the 60 day mark.

Wishing you all the best!
