ILR conditional statement

Post by simoncastellano » Thu Oct 17, 2019 12:37 pm

Hi there,
I have been reading posts on this forum and it is very useful.
In my case, I am applying for ILR. My 5th anniv here in the UK will be on 13 Nov and my visa expires on 29 Nov. I asked my supervisor for an endorsement letter and it has specifically stated:

"We still require his services until 15th November 2019. We would be retaining Simon xxx beyond the 15th November or in the foreseeable future if funds were available to do so."

The "foreseeable future" is there but it is appended with a conditional phrase.
Are these statements not too risky for the HO? I would appreciate advice.

Thanks,
Simon

It should not be conditional. HO may reject that your situation depends on their funding and so it is merely conditional

Thanks Zimba for your reply.
What if we rephrase it like:

"We still require his services until 15th November 2019. We would be retaining Simon xxx beyond the 15th November or in the foreseeable future should this application for ILR be approved."

For your info, I'm into Tier 2 (General) visa, five years by 13 Nov 2019. My visa was valid since 12 Nov 2014.
I feel this is more possible as I have already spent almost five years here in the UK and HO could not do anything but to extend my visa as Tier2 (General) is good for 6 years, I think.

Kindly advice.
