Today I received an email from HO asking for my wife ID copy through email. I replied to them explaining that it is not possible for me to get the recent copy of her ID but I do have a previous scan copy of her Passport which I sent them.
after that, I received a call from HO and the person asked me that the passport is expired is it possible to arrange a valid Passport picture. and I explained to him that it is not possible for me because we are separated and she doesn't want to see me at all, I tried everything I could.
then the person said I have to consult my supervisor with this case. it can take a bit longer.

is there anyone who has a similar situation?

Hi Mate,

Any response from HO on your apllication

Thanks

Applicants that find ourselves in this kind of situation are being ignored? I don't think they know what to do with us.

Quick Update.

Been asked to submit residence evidence of my EU partner in email. This is da second email after I have submitted my application in march, but this time I have found 2x P60 and 2x Council tax bills covering 2 years, So overall I have evidence for 4 years but no id. I will add cover letter.

Any suggestions?

Your ex EU spouse you meant? If I remember correctly, you couldn't present the ex spouse's valid ID, right?
I suggest in your cover letter, quote the former spouse's NI number and kindly ask them to do automated check based on the NI number for the residence proof.

Yup that is correct. They haven't asked me to submit ex spouse id like they did in first email so for residence proof i have documents to cover 4 years and if they do automatic checks for ex spouse as you suggested then a guess it's all good.

Update.

I got email from the resolution centre that says:
"Thank you for your application to the EU Settlement Scheme.

To help us progress the application, please provide the following:

Evidence you have attempted to obtain sponsors ID
Or
Evidence of divorce documents/proceedings"

I sent them whatsapp screenshot where I asked my ex partner for id back in April. 15 minutes later they send me another email asking me to contact resolution centre.

Hello Asad, thanks buddy. I called them and was asked if I have contacted my ex for the id (Proof of that) and if we have applied for divorce. We haven't applied for anything yet so I gave them screenshot where I asked my ex for her id and explained it over the phone. Lady on the other end told me if caseworker will contact me if he need something else.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Why they refused him? Is there any post or link? According to home office data no one has been refused yet.

Wow, what was the guy's circumstance? He was able to provide his ex's valid ID?
The reason for rejection/refusal?
Was his application rejected or refused? There's a difference

I think applications have just started moving since the new guidelines. So don’t stress but prepare yourself, the first thing after looking at your application case worker will contact you through email or phone so go through all the documents you have of your ex partner. If you have her national insurance number note it down, write a cover letter explaining your situation and you'll be fine.
