Apply for naturalisation previous address

Post by harishpraveen » Thu Oct 17, 2019 7:32 pm

Hi,

I am applying for naturalisation and have few questions

I came to UK in Jan 2010 in Tier 4 and switched to Tier 2 and got ILR last June.

1. For " Additional employment details?"
Do I need to a mention all my employment or just last 5 years?

2.For "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?"
Is it enough if I mention my last two application or should I mention everything from Tier 4 student visa?

3. For "Details of your trips outside the UK"
Again do I need to a mention all my trips or just last 5 years?

4. For "Give your second referee's details. This referee should be a person (of any nationality) who has professional standing."
Can I provide my work colleague [Operations Director] as referee.

Many thanks

Harish

1. All employment since you came to the UK as the question asks.

2. All applications you have made for a UK visa and ilr, as the question asks.

3. Last 5 years.

4. Should be ok. There is a list of accepted referees.

Many thanks for your response.

1. All employment since you came to the UK as the question asks.
What happens when I had break-in employment

2. All applications you have made for a UK visa and ilr, as the question asks.
I do not know the exact date of the application. What should I do in that case?

1. It is simply asking you for your employment history. If you had breaks so what, it doesn't matter.

2. Month/year is fine.

Hi,

Thanks again for your response.

Final few questions,

For Documents section,
1."Proof of living in the UK for Mr H"?
Is the last three months enough or should I provide last five years one proof per year?

2."Mr H's proof of freedom from immigration time restrictions"
Is it BRP card or something else?

3."Two referee declarations for Mr H"
What so the referee needs to provide? Is there any letter template?

4."Mr H's evidence of identity"
Is driving license enough?

5.In addition, is there any other documents should I provide?

Thanks in advance.

1. It is your passports.

2. ILR BRP card.

3. Did you not complete the referee pages in the online form? It asks for specific information of the two referees. You then print the relevant form and ask each one to sign their bit.

4. Passport.

5. You need passports, liuk, English requirement and brp and referee forms.

Thank you again.

Sorry to be thick, for 1."Proof of living in the UK for Mr. H"?, why is it passport when I have an Indian passport especially?.

So just to be clear, I do not need to submit any council tax bill, bank statements, water bill, etc..

Also for my previous address, it is enough If I provide last 5 years?

You are overthinking. You are NOT repeating an immigration or visa application.

Your passports are proof of residence. Nothing else that you need to submit.

Citizenship is based on 5 years residence, simply provide the information the form asks for.

Hi,
I have submitted the application. However just realised, I am employed at A company which I have mentioned on the application)

and also a director for company 1 (10% shareholder) from Nov 2018 to 25 Oct 2019, director for a company 2 (51% shareholder) from April 2019 to present and 50% share holder of company 3 from Aug 2019 to present. None of the company accounts has been filed as its less than one year old.

What should I do now as I have already submitted the application?

Is it nescarry to mention on the application?

Should I mention on the covering letter?

Thanks

Hi,
I was wondering what did you do and have you received your approval letter? Did you mention details of the companies you are a director of.
Thanks in advance for your response.
