Tier 2 Changing jobs

Post by pride88 » Tue Oct 22, 2019 3:18 pm

Hi All,

I have resigned from my job and have received an offer from an another company which I have accepted. I am currently on a tier 2 visa. I have a few questions and I humbly request your help with this. The job could be on the shortage occupation also. (SOC 2112).

1). Will my dependents already in the UK need to apply for a fresh Tier 2 visa?
2). As a Tier 2 holder, I do not need to keep maintenance but does that hold true for my dependents as well?
3). What other documents apart from the usual list will I need to show?
4). Will I need to pay for the IHS again?
5). What are the other factors must I keep in mind when I switch from one Tier 2 visa into another Tier 2 general visa?

I humbly request all your help!

My apologies for any inconvenience.

Kindest regards,
Pride88

1. No. uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/when ... 98586.html

2. No.

3. The list you get once you complete online application is all.

4. Yes.

5. Hopefully RLMT was done correctly, if relevant and you are being offered the required experienced rate salary for the SOC.

Hi CR001,

Many thanks for your quick response. Very kind of you!! The latest update to the shortage occupation list is 2112 which I belong, also I am a PhD level candidate, So I humbly feel there will no need to carry out the RLMT. Please advice if this is not the case.

Thanks once again. Much appreciated.
