ILR for children

Post by Deekee » Fri Nov 08, 2019 9:23 am

Hello Everyone,

Please I need clarification regarding ILR application for my children born outside UK.

They have always being my dependants on all my visa categories since 2012, myself and the kids are eligible to apply for ILR from March, 2020, current Tier 1 extension visa will expire in May 2020. While my spouse will be eligible for ILR in August due to his first dependant visa on Tier 1 was approved in July 2015 and arrived in UK August 2015.

Can I apply for ILR for my children as my dependants when I submit my ILR application in March 2020 or do I need to renew their Tier 1 Entrepreneur dependants visa since my spouse does not qualify for ILR till August 2020.

Thank you.

Also Ur spouse is eligible for ILR from initial visa issue date minus 28 days not entry date.
As you are Tier1 Ent(?).. you should apply as soon as you qualify for ILR as it has a long decision time line.
Ur dependants applications shall be approved in line with you.
Dependants can apply for ILR nearer to current visa expiry date. Submit biometrics when in qualifying period.
