AN Naturalisation questions - employment history

Post by mteja » Wed Oct 23, 2019 12:52 pm

Hi all,

I am filling naturalisation questions and i wondered if someone could please help.

1)On the dependant section:- My daughter hasn't got 10years employment history as she was a minor, she has only recently started working part time job as she is studying.

Do i need to do a cover letter and explain?

2)In the last ten years, there times i have worked as a contractor? Being paid through an umbrella company. My payslips came through umbrella company. Who shall i write my employer was? The agency? Or the Umbrella company?

3) With employment dates - I am missing some exact starting/finishing dates. When filling in this dates - its asking for date/Month/Year. Example i can remember the months but i cant remember the dates. And i am missing some of the P45s. Will not having the exact dates be an issue?

4)Also both my daughter and i, we have never had bio metric cards as our ILRs are in our passports. I cant remember if we had our fingure prints taken when we were being issued ILR. I only remember my fingure prints being taken when i was applying for my spouse visa. Does anyone know where i can find information of fingure prints being taken?

5) In the section of parents - there is only one parent ie mother. Never had a dad. Will that suffice?

Or do i need to do a cover letter and explain?

Thanks in advance.

Becoming annoying that you keep starting new topics with each question.

See the forum rule on multiple topics (click to read)

1. The questin clearly states IF or for however long. If she has only recently started working, then that is all you state. It is not a trick question.

2. Whoever paid you, i.e. umbrella company.

3. No but you should be as accurate as possible as HO do check.

4. ILR biometrics would have been madatory, for both of you. You would need to look back at your applications/emails etc.

5. Yes.

You do NOT need cover letters to explain normal things.

CR001

Thanks for responding, sorry for being annoying, i do appreciate i need to carry on with the same topic - however on my end its locked, i could not add/write on that topic - there is a tiny padlock on it.

ILR Biometrics - Am sorry if this sound naive but is Biometric the Indefinate to Leave in the passport? Which says 'RESIDENCE PERMIT' and on the left side of the ILR there is a number starting with UK****. And on the same page there is my name, date of issue, place of issue etc.

Is that the ILR Biometric?

Thanks

Biometrics is the enrollment of your finger prints and digital photo you submit for all HO applications you have made. It is NOT the BRP Card.

Hello again,

Can someone help with below question please.
This is for my daughter who is my dependant.

Are you able to provide a biometric residence permit (BRP) card with this application?(Required)
This is a card with your name, date of birth, nationality and picture. It describes your entitlement to be in the UK. You might not have a BRP card. Select 'No, I do not have a BRP for my most recent leave' if you do not have this card.

Yes
No, my BRP is lost or stolen
No, I have already sent my BRP to the Home Office
No, I do not have a BRP for my most recent leave She doesnt have a biometric card.

Do you have a BRP from a previous stay in the UK?(Required)
Yes
No

Am not sure what previous stay would imply.

She has ILE in her passport.

Am assuming the above question could be referring to her ILE that is in her passport hence i have answered yes. She has never made an application in the UK previous to her ILE.

Can someone please correct me if i am wrong?

Can you provide this with your application?(Required)
Yes (This would be yes depending with above answer to question above)
No

How long has your daughter been resident in the UK?

Has she done liuk and the B1 English test?

You answer no to the brp question.

No to the second question you highlight too as the visa vignette is not a brp.

Did you click on the arrow symbol next to it?
Upload ur passport and the rest of the documents there. Don’t bother with uploading documents according to categories.

Yes i did thank you.

Another question please - whats the time frame of uploading the referees signed documents?

FYI - We got our bio metric appointment last working day of this month(Nov).

Asking as one of my referees is away on holidays and we have already submitted the soft copy.

Thanks

I would like to say thank you so much to all that took time to answer my questions.
And to those waiting - dont give up there is hope!

Just one more thing for us - awaiting the ceremony then that the end of this long process.
