FLR M English requirement

Post by amit8910 » Mon Nov 11, 2019 11:07 pm

Hi All,

I am on ILR visa and my wife is going to apply for FLR M my dependent visa next year. She did schooling and diploma in English medium. Is it acceptable as a English evidence for visa if https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/ authorize it?

If not then which exam she needs to give for English evidence.-For extension and settlement
What is the validity for exam?
From which website I can book this exam?

Thanks in advance for help.

Regards,
Amit

To meet the english langauge requirement it should be at least a bachelor degree. For extension she will need A2 ielts life skills but better to pass B1 ielts life skills test so that she wont need to redo another test at ILR stage.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thanks.Do I need to book exam from https://www.ielts.org/book-a-test/ielts ... ill-campus IELTS Life Skills Listening Sample B-level B1?

I think my wife can use IELTS certificate for extension and then for settlement even though it's finish it's validity. I see this on IELTS weboste. Is it true?

Yes this is true for B1 - so far it is still on the HO approved list at times of extension and settlement.
