Hi all,

Am just joining this topic for the first time, though I have been somewhere around the forum commenting.

I don’t have any questions but to post my status and encourage anyone waiting.

Applied for EU settled status:18th of September
Biometric:25th of September
After a long wait without COA,I called EU Center for escalation on the 6th of October.
CoA:7th
Settled Status :7th (just few hours interval).

Note:
I have bn married to an EU family member since 0ct 2014.

I wish everyone all the best and hope this serves as a motivation to anyone in my shoes.

Cheers!

Hi Asadaqeel,

Proof of residence for 5yrs( joint bank statement and few letters to show I live same address).

However, my partner applied a month before me and got settled status, so I linked the application. And most letters submitted were from the option listed on the EU settlement site e.g, Letter from my uni, Gp,Insurance letter etc. Just any letter that would show date and name plus I asked them to check my previous documents which I used to apply for my residence card.

It is quite straightforward if one can link his/her EU partner’s reference ID.

Cheers!

I have submitted my fathers' (EU Citizen) application for settled status on the 22nd of Oct. Received COA on the same day. But haven't got any decision yet. I called the resolution centre several times. They said, the processing time has been updated from 5 days to a month because of huge volume of applications. So the delay is not unusual.

Anyone has same situation?
How long did you get your EU-Settlement permit?

Hi Miguel,

Looking at the statistics recently puslished by the Home Office (https://www.gov.uk/government/collectio ... statistics), things do not bode well:

Total number of applications received by 31 October 2019: 2,450,500
Total number of applications concluded by 31 October 2019: 1,925,300

So 525,000 still need to be processed.

And apparently there was a surge in applications in October 2019, with a total of 590,300 applications (that number is included in the 2,450,500).

The figures show that the number of applications concluded in October2019 was 400,900 (that number is included in the 1,925,300).

Hence if they can only process 400,000 applications in a single month then with a backlog of 525,000 applications we should be looking at another SIX WEEKS before the backlog of 525,000 has been processed (based on a first in first out principle). As we both applied towards the end of the month, statistically we would be looking at a decision somewhere in the first week of December.....

Keep hanging in there - Rich
