Permanent Residence Card (Surrinder Singh)

Post by Jellybean105 » Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:28 pm

Hello

We posted my husbands application on the 2nd of October 2019 and payment was taken a few days later. But we haven't heard anything since then. No confirmation email or letter, or biometric details.

Is this normal? I can see in the timeline threads most people receive their biometrics letter in about a month.
My husbands 5-year resident card expires in Dec 2019 but we entered the country in Feb so we were eligible to apply after Feb 2019.

Please can anyone shed light on this? Is there anyone I can contact to find out the status?

Thank you for your help.

Can anyone provide some legal information about being allowed to work while a visa is in process? Or being allowed to work as a spouse of an EEA national in general?
