Tier 2 Ict dependent to Tier 4

Post by nav18scse » Wed Nov 20, 2019 12:42 pm

I am working in a company in my Tier 2 dependent visa and planning to do post graduation. I have below questions.

1) I am eligible to work for 20 hours per week in Tier 4 so may I continue in my current employer.
2) I also noticed I cant fulfill a permanent position so wanted to understand whether I can continue
3) My husband Tier 2 ICT will be ended soon so can he eligible for tier 4 dependent immediately without need of 12 months cooling off

Thanks in advance.

I assume you know you will need to make the Tier 4 application in your home country.

You must have misread. Tier 4 work conditions do not prevent a part-time job from being permanent.

You have misunderstood when the cooling off period applies. See third party immigration firm weblink removed by moderator

Hi Sah10406,
I appreciate your quick reply.

Yes I will make Tier 4 application in my home country.

so I can continue in my employer as a part time employee. That is good news!. Both me and employer will be happy then.

I guess employer just needs to change my Visa status from dependent to Tier 4 ?

I also understand cooling off will not be applied for my husband.

Thanks.

Hi,
Can you help me with below

1) During the university holidays can I do full time job with my current employer?
2) After my course in my four months, may I immediately start full time with my current employer with Tier 4 visa?

Thanks.

Switching from Tier2 ICT to Tier4

Post by nav18scse » Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:07 am

Hi
I am in Tier 2 ICT long term visa and it will be expired end of June 2020. I am planning to do higher education and to get Tier 4 visa. Course will start Oct 2020. I have few questions around it. They are
1) May I and my dependents switch to Tier 4 in UK itself instead of getting them from home country.
2) Between July 2020 to Oct 2020 what is option for me and what is the right time to apply for course to avoid break in between. I would like to avoid to go home country to this to be done.
3) My wife is working as dependent in UK, can she continue with the same employer after getting Tier 4 dependent.
4) May I switch to Tier 4 to Tier 2 general after course completion possibly by 2021.
5) I am in UK for 5 year now and after another 5 years with this Tier4 am I eligible to get ILR?

Thanks in advance.
