Still nothing as well 😢😢😢
Yesterday an EU friend received his pre settled status and has been applied on the same day as me . I don’t understand why is taking so longer . Maybe they are doing only the Pre settled at the moment , or maybe our caseworker is more busy 😢😢😢😢

I applied for him late-September online and received the COA right away. It took about 2 weeks for the confirmation of pre-settled but only after I submitted proof of custody.

No. Waiting and anxious. My husband is running out of time before he can apply for spouse visa. Very very worried. I wonder if he can apply for a spouse visa while my settlement application is pending. But that is probably good for a seperate post.

He is NON-EU. I applied through my father who is an EU citizen. My husband is currently on tier 2 visa. He lost his job and awaiting visa curtailment letter from home office at the moment (almost 5 months). He will switch to spouse visa as soon i get settled status.

I’m non-eea, My EEA residence card was valid until 01/03/2019. At that time EU settlement wasn’t available.
It shouldn’t be all right to stay until emd of March, then apply it afterwards.
However I was afraid it might be too busy when it becomes available, so I applied EEA Permanent residence in Oct 2018, then got it in Nov 2018.
This year, when I knew EEA settlement is free to apply, I thought I was too stupid to apply it earlier.
Now I feel much relieved, even my EEA settlement application submitted on 5th of Nov, still not hear anything, feel worth to spent that money earlier.
I think I will get it by next month, will keep post it.

Hello all,

I am an EU national (Dutch)

CoA: 24 October 2019

Still waiting... :?

Rich
Hello Rich,
Have you received any news about your application? I still waiting 😢
Hi Miguel, no news so far and if I do hear something I will immediately post here. I am not too worried as it is obvious they simply cannot deal with the volume. Based on my calculation, I expect that I will hear something in a week or two (that's where I expect the top of my Gaussian probability curve, haha  )

Not a sausage🙁I'm pretty sure it will be down to the large volumes. Not worried too much tho- nothing I can do to speed it up 🤷‍♀️

A question for those that have linked there application to their EEA family member application.

Did you wait for your EEA members application to be concluded before submitting your application or submit your application shortly after your family member submitted them.

I am looking to apply with my EU father under the dependent child over 21yrs (non EEA) but I'm just a bit confused as to when I should submit mine so that they are considered together.

Thank you

I only applied for myself. My husband has dual nationality. I’m thinking it might be delay as I only applied for myself but I already have EEA PR, why have to apply with him.
If he doesn’t have British nationality, he can choose to apply it.
And I can chose to stay as EEA settlement then not give up my nationality. I can’t hace dual nationality.

You should apply right after your sponsors application. So when you apply you will have your sponsors ref number to add into your application. You do not need to wait for his decision.

Funny thing, right after posting yesterday, got my settled status this morning. Took almost 40 days from the day I received my COA until I got my settled status.

Well like I said, Applied on October 16th, got offered pre-settled status (no idea why I wasn't offered settled automatically), I decided to reject pre-settled and apply for settled, uploaded five council tax bills (one for each year needed), got COA on Oct 17th & got an email confirming settled status on the 26th of November, so the whole thing took around 40 days.
