Hi all just also posting my application processing timeline to share my experience too.

Application : BRP maiden name to surname change
Applied online: 30/10/19
Biometric appoitnmet booked: 1/11/19
Documents scanned and uploaded online:1/11/19
Biometrics submitted Birmingham: 4/11/19
Acknowledgement letter: 14/11/19
BRP received: 14/11/19

UPDATE

Received a letter today stating BRP will be received in 10 days. 7 working days after biometric. So will wait and see.
An hour after posting an update a knock on the door and courier with BRP card received!!!😮😊 Aĺl done in 11 working days altogether. Normal processing service (except I paid £75 for a closer biometric appointment date is all.) My holiday early december back on track and hopefully no problems coming back in UK as passport surname matches BRP surname now🤗So grateful from the bottom of my heart to all who pointed me in the right direction and advice. Your help is priceless. Many thanks.

Best wishes to all.😊

Wow! that’s a really short amount of time! I’m in a very difficult situation but after seeing this post, I have some hope left. I submitted my application(normal service too) on the 19th and had booked an appointment today(23rd November), uploaded my document and also supplied my biometric altogether on the same day(at croydon core service). I hope I get my replacement BRP in time before I travel on the 3rd of December. The thing is I’m not even changing anything, I just need a replacement because I lost my BRP so hopefully it should be fast.

@songupsorn

It was quick indeed considering how long they can take, bear up well you will never know. I forgot to mentioned my appointment was in Birmingham if anyone wondered.

Best wishes for your application!

Has anyone under the EU Settlement Scheme, updated their Pre-settled status BRP RC to Settled Status BRP RC and how long did it take to receive the new card?

Hi all:

Really appreciated if anyone could help.
Ive lost my passport with my ILR init. Was advice to apply for BRP, but not aware it take this long, n also not aware I couldn’t travel.
If I have already submitted an application, can I pay to add the priority service now? Also if I hire an immigration advisor, could it help to speed up the process?

Many thanks

@Bbkay I'm curious when did you do your biometrics? was it on the 4th of September? and I think if you were to reapply with a premium service that would cancel your current application and make it a premium one.

Hi. Yes I submitted the application on 4th sept n did biometrics on 9th sept.

I’ve enquire it on a immigration advice website. I briefly explain the situation. N apparently they can assign me an advisor who supposedly can help me. Which I’m curious of how, as the application is already submitted. They keep calling me n I’m Afraid to answer Incase they start charging me as soon as I answer.

Lost BRP: 16/10/2019
Reported it lost: 17/10/2019
Biometric Appointment at Croydon: 18/10/2019
Approval letter: dated 10/12/2019
BRP Delivery (first attempt): 13/12/2019
Delivery Rescheduled for: 27/12/2019

Took exactly 8 weeks for them to come to a decision for me! Judging by the recent trend of long BRP wait times it seems to be this way for everyone (for LTR at least, since I have LTR) too so I hope this can get everybody to rest assured that your BRP is definitely on the way!!!! So thankful because I have a friend bringing it back to Malaysia for me before I head back to the UK! This has been a horrible experience and I am definitely never taking my BRP out of my room again LOL

Best of luck to all! :) Stay strong!

Hi,
My wife BRP got lost on 11th Dec, we reported it lost to HO on same day and applied for replacement 16th Dec. below are our dates-
Lost BRP: 11/12/2019
Reported it lost: 11/12/2019
Biometric Appointment: 16/12/2019
decision letter: waiting
BRP Delivery : waiting

we applied through standard process which says processing time is 8 weeks but now we need to travel to India urgently. please suggest options or anybody's experiences with similar situations. there is number of post which says to apply for one time visa from India but is someone really gone through that process, how long it will take and if we travel and apply one time visa from India then what will happen to this replacement application?

Hello all,
Just wanted to share some information which I came across, I did call visa and immigration department and explain my situation, they were unable to tell any status of my application but they said if you want to travel then you can do that as nobody will be able to stop you going but while coming back you have to explain your situation to entry clearance officer who has right to allow your entry in UK. so if entry clearance officer allow you then it all good. Also he mentioned if I leave UK then my application for replacement of BRP will get cancel and have to apply again once back.

I am trying find number of entry clearance department and wanted to have word with them before we leave.
if I get any update will post that too. please share if anybody has any other information on it.

If your flying im pretty sure the airline wont let you fly if you dont have a brp even photocopies wont be accepted...

I wanted some advise in regards to this, planning to go for a wedding in April around the first week. I will be applying for a replacement brp for the mrs she has ILR.

Should i use standard or super priority 800 quid more?

On the site it says 6 months for standard!!

go for super priority process , no wonder they might take complete 6 months to process though it just replacement of BRP. I have taken chance by going standard process but regretting on my decision now as my all travel plan got disturb.
