Passport validity for sponsor (regarding a renewal)

Hi, guys.

Regarding a UK based spouse visa renewal.

We are planning on submitting our application in the next few days...

My passport (I'm the sponsor) expires in the middle of January next year. Just wanted to double check that this won't cause any problems as long as it is valid at the time the documents are submitted/scanned?
